School Meals

Students are not allowed to leave the site during the school day.

School Lunch

  • Lunch is available from the school canteen between 11.30 and 12.00. 
  • Items are individually priced.
  • The School Office will operate a credit account for each student.  Please ensure that there are sufficient funds in the account.  Cash or a cheque should be put in an envelope marked with the student's name and the amount enclosed.  This should be handed to a member of the Office staff.  Receipts will be provided for cash amounts over £15.
  • Lunch orders should be placed during tutor time in the morning.
  • Please inform the School Office if your child is entitled to Free School Meals.

 Packed Lunch

Students who do not wish to purchase lunch in school may bring in a packed lunch from home.


Your child might be able to get free school meals if you get any of the following:

  • Income Support
  • income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
  • income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  • support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  • the guaranteed element of Pension Credit
  • Child Tax Credit (provided you're not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  • Working Tax Credit run-on - paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit
  • Universal Credit

Children who get paid these benefits directly, instead of through a parent or guardian, can also get free school meals.
