In line with Statutory guidance issued by the DfE's ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, Rowhill School has written recruitment and selection policies and procedures to help deter, reject or identify people who might abuse children.
The Management Committee adopt the Model Recruitment Policy from HCC’s Manual of Personnel Practice which provides a framework within which recruitment and selection activities consistently take place. The school’s Recruitment Policy is made available to staff as part of their induction.
The recruitment policy is available to all prospective applicants and will be issued to the applicant on request from the school office. The school will issue a hard copy to any candidate who makes this request.
